Limited Run Games hope to bring out first game for Switch this summer

Posted on March 19, 2017 by (@NE_Brian) in News, Switch

Back in January, Limited Run Games spoke about wanting to go “all-out” with support for Switch. We may begin to see that in just a few months from now.

Gaming Trend asked Limited Run Games co-founder Douglas Bogart about plans for Switch. To that, he said: “It’s looking very positive and we hope to have our first title out this summer, fingers crossed!”

The company hasn’t yet given any sort of idea about the kinds of physical games we could be seeing on Switch. Limited Run often partners with indies, so we should probably look forward to something in that space.

Fast RMX and Shovel Knight complete, please.

Asked on Twitter to the dev team if the new Shovel Knight will be released physically and he said there’s a good chance. He said it had something to do about a King-thing work be developed before.

FAST RMX seems to already have a European release scheduled.

Hey, Limited run sounds like a Nintendo thing.

Fatal Frame 5 on the Wii U.

Project Zero 5: Maiden of Black Water? We already got that on physical format.

      • Cloudy

Yes. Physical is only for EU and Japan.

    Snake pass would be cool

Was kind of hoping to hear some news on the 3DS Ace Attorney. Remember them saying something about it. Oh well.

I may have to hold off on indies now. Anything could end up getting a physical copy.

Thank You!!!! FAST RMX, Tomorrow corporation collection and Blaster Master Zero!!!!!! Oh! and Snake Pass!!

    • Felipe M.

I’d definitely be interested in buying a physical release of Blaster Master Zero.

Btw, Binding of Isaac will be receiving a European physical release so it’s not US-only buuut.. it’s unknown if it’ll have the Launch Edition goodies that the American version did.

I have my hard copy of Binding of Isaac!! I hope EU gets Stickers and other goodies! I love this bloody system!!!!!!!

United Publications (normally only for American anime Blu-rays/DVDs imports to UK) have gotten back to me and said it would cost me £42.00 delivered.

£42 isn’t a bad price but now knowing a European release is coming, I’m going to wait for it. I prefer to have my Switch games all with a consistent spine and its triangle green colours (UK’s green).

Not a bad deal, Hard copy for life!
