Nintendo at E3 2017 live stream – day 1 (Spotlight, Treehouse Live, Splatoon 2 tournament)

Posted on June 13, 2017 by (@NE_Brian) in News, Switch, Videos

Nintendo’s E3 2017 festivities will be beginning soon. The fun starts with Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017, which is taking place in an hour from now. It should begin at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM in the UK / 6 PM in Europe.

After the Spotlight presentation ends, Treehouse Live will be taking over almost right after. We’ll be getting looks at various titles with extensive gameplay, and it sounds like more announcements will be taking place over the next few days. And don’t forget: the 2017 Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational will be happening later today.

You can watch all of Nintendo’s first day E3 activities below. We’ll add any important news to the site from all events throughout the day. Should be a fun time!

Nintendo’s maintained a steady presence throughout the whole show so far, having this third-party game and that announced for Switch. They’ve set real high standards for their own event, so if it’s anything less exciting than any of their previous shows, they’re in real trouble for the rest of the year.

I don’t know, on the contrary I’m in anti-hype mode after the past few days.
      No code Vein
      No MH World
No DBZ fighter (though that one looks like it would be too much to ask of a Switch)
Save for Ubisoft there’s very little third party support, especially from the Japanese which hurts.
As far as I’m concerned Nintendo starts with a handicap before they even got to show anything. I’m really hoping ther will be something to overcome that because the minimal prestation I’ve been expecting just won’t do it.

    Man, that was short.
Nintendo definitely has some very strong games coming, but I’m left wanting for more.
Yoshi looked good though, but Metroid and Pokémon are just empty promises at this point.
Plus no Japanese third parties, no MH XX … meh.

Legit surprised. That was actually really quite good. Mario Odyssey looks insane. And freaking Pokemon confirmed. And a couple 2018 games. Plus Metroid even if Prime which I don’t care for myself. Wow.

Nice to see Pauline being more than a toy for apes to play with.
    Mario Galaxy really looks cool.
