    WHAAT?!

  • Same as Princess Eeevee and Pepperkeet! x’D

I am so pumped! I hope it finally gets localized, but heck, I’ll happily import~!

    WHAAAAAT?!!

    Sega. localization.ASAP.

    WHAT ?

I didn’t want to break the trend, but I think I need some clarification about what exactly this is from people in the know.
Is it the same legendary stuff as on DC and Gamecube or does “cloud” somehow mean it’s a smartphone version, free-to-play or some such ?

    • TalesOfBS

Cloud means a video Stream over the internet, not the actual game running on the console.
For some reason it seems they don’t want to even bother porting the game… You can play it on PC anyway.

      • R.Z.

Oh, so it’s kind of like DQ X on 3DS.
I was thinking “Cloud” was maybe some kind of subtitle that had to do with the game content, not the technical side.

It doesn’t bother me personally, but I guess that given this game’s track record of not coming west there’s no reason to expect getting to play this on Switch on the western side.

        • TalesOfBS

If you live in Japan, yes, if you live anywhere else it will be unplayable due to latency.
There is no ipblock anyway, so the PC version is still the way to go.

  • This better be coming stateside and to Europe

    WHAAAAAAT?!

(I made sure the amount of A’s was right after Stuart’s post)

    Um… I didn’t see this anywhere in the Direct…

Edit: Japanese Direct. Ignore my statement.

    WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!

    Get on my level

  • Charlene Buffington

They STILL don’t have pso2 pc in europe or the states, but it’s f2p, so maybe since Switch isnt region locked this can be played anyways?

    • Akaimizu

Yep. And this was one reason i knew I would be getting this console version due to my access to this with a simple free Japanese nintendo account. Now we’ll get not only a proper console version, but a full featured portable version at that. Still wish SEGA would localize any version of this game.

      • TalesOfBS

It is a streaming game dude.

        • Akaimizu

I guess it is. Some advantages and disadvantages there for an Online game. I have this on PC, but I’m still more likely to play it more on a hybrid console as long as it works well enough. It also means I don’t have to worry about being locked out of certain maps like my Vita version does.

          • TalesOfBS

Giving up on better gameplay experience and graphics just to suffer with a laggy stream from Japan on the Switch?

  • Puffdaddy

WHHHAAAATTT??? Why isn’t this in America and EU??????

    • ronin4life

They won’t release Pso games over here anymore.

      • Busterblade

        How come?
