Puyo Puyo Tetris patch coming in August

SEGA has announced a new patch for Puyo Puyo Tetris. Upon release, the game will receive balance adjustments as well as stricter penalties for rage-quitters. SEGA intends to have it ready sometime in August.

    That’s it for me, and not because i’m a rage quitter but because of my terrible unstable wifi.

    They have to fix their servers though, with ARMS i don’t have all these issues.

    Sweet, glad to see they’re improving the game.

    I personally feel like in multiplayer, the puyo gameplay is vastly better/easier at attacking other players than Tetris players. To the point that when I played in my gaming group, it’s like ‘play puyo to WIN’, as a simple puyo combo throws like 3-4 lines onto tetris, which if stacked can be deadly. (may be balanced for competitive play, but seemed OP in a more casual setting)

    Aside from that, it’s be nice if you could lower the sound effect volume a bit (it can be pretty sharp, particularly with multiplayer), but not mute it entirely.
