Not good that Splatoon 2 failed to nab top spot….

If it came out at the beginning of the week it would of. Besides theres more than 1 Switch game in the chart, which is better than the Wii U fared.

besides Crash is hugely popular in the UK it is outselling Horizon and Zelda already.

Yea, Playstation was their go to so I wouldn’t shocked. Sadly for me the only way I’d buy it is if they got the original dev team back. The current devs don’t have a solid track record.

#2 is good for Nintendo in the UK.

A new release doesn’t have to top it’s charts. Second is still great for any game. If it vanishes off the list next week then that’s not good but it’s pretty strong considering its an exclusive online shooting game with bright colours on a console hasn’t had as much time on the market as competitors.

So much more people owns a PS4 there and UK is not too kind to Nintendo and I say #2 is pretty good

A good amount of Switch games got a boost in the charts,so I am assuming it got a boost in hardware too. Also way to go Crash! It feels good to see it selling so well.

  • It’s interesting that 3 Nintendo titles made the top 10 charts which may indicate an increase in hardware sales for the Switch. Splatoon not taking the top spot shows the strength of Crash even though it had only 2 days on the market and perhaps its one of those titles people prefer to download (digital) rather than buy physical. It’s unfortunate that Fate Extella didn’t seem to do well (even in Japan I believe).

Splatoon 2 sold around 28,000 copies at launch, opening 59% higher than the Wii U original from 2015. Nintendo shipped more Switch hardware sales to celebrate Splatoon 2’s release, causing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Zelda BOTW sales to rise by 60% and 20% respectively over the previous week.

But Crash Bandicoot is such a juggernaut that almost everything looks bad in comparison.

Someone knows how many copies sold Arms? 500K? Kinda worried.
