[Let’s Talk] Your dream NX game

Posted on August 28, 2016 by (@NE_Brian) in Let's Talk

We still don’t know a whole lot about NX. Within the next few weeks, that will hopefully change. When Nintendo is finally ready to talk about its new platform, we’ll actually learn about what this thing is, and we should be seeing some games as well.

It is interesting how a few games have been confirmed for the NX even though it’s yet to be properly unveiled. Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Dragon Quest XI, Dragon Quest X, Project Sonic 2017, and Just Dance 2017 will be on the system. There are some other probable candidates like Pikmin 4.

In terms of unannounced titles, what do you want to see? What would be your dream NX game? Do share your thoughts with us in the comments below!

Highlights from last week’s topic: Thoughts on Metroid Prime: Federation Force

Starting to enjoy it more the further I get into it. Not great, but not bad, and I say that genuinely as a fan of the series.

Many people seem to been overreacting about this game because it’s the first new Metroid game since Other M. But really it’s just a spin-off game that was delayed because the technology for handhelds at the time wasn’t powerful enough to make the experience the developers were hoping for. Now, that the game is released, they can focus on a main series game that fans want!

As for the game itself, I haven’t played it just yet, but it does look pretty fun to play with other people, traversing the areas and shooting down enemies. It looks like a pretty solid multiplayer focused first-person shooter with some puzzle elements. The graphics don’t look amazing and the story seems pretty limited, but at the very least, it seems to be a competent title and that’s more than enough for me!

I don’t have and probably will not buy it so soon, not because of blind hate but because of priority, I have other games I want including the new Nintendo Selects.

But anyway, for what I saw, most people that played looks like they enjoyed the game, and that makes me question: Does a game deserve a storm of hate because it wasn’t the game people wanted even tho the game itself isn’t bad? Is that fair or just playing stubborn?
