Penguin Wars remake announced for Switch
Penguin Wars was originally made as an arcade title in 1985 before reaching additional platforms, including Game Boy. A remake of the title is now in development for Switch, according to the latest issue of Famitsu.

Penguin Wars will support one-versus-one and two-versus-two modes. Special rules will also be included such as replacing the balls with bombs. Local and online multiplayer are are both in, with up to four players supported for the former. Character will offer special techniques, and a story mode is planned with a growth element.
Famitsu also confirms that the background music has been made. Additionally, the game will feature tracks from artists active in the game music club scene both inside and outside of Japan.
Peguin Wars on Switch is currently 75 percent complete. City Connection will handle publishing.
