Grindstone gains Carnival of Creeps update on Switch
Yet another update is being distributed for the Switch puzzler Grindstone, with Capybara Games announcing “Carnival of Creeps”.
Carnival of Creeps adds a carnival-themed area in Grindstone with 15 levels and its own set of special mechanics. A new Teleporter Arrow item is included as well.
Below is some additional information:
A carnival more on the Creep-y side, players will take Jorj or Jorja through this deadly carnival and collect valuable tickets that can be exchanged for spins on a snazzy prize wheel containing resources and gear blueprints. To collect tickets, players must create chains slicing through wooden or metal targets sprawled across the levels in the carnival. The higher the chain, the more tickets you get. Wooden targets are destructible, but metal targets will pop back up into a new space when hit, killing whatever happens to be there! Learn their patterns and use them to kill enemies but be careful, they can kill you too! Then use those tickets to spin the wheel of prizes! Each spin costs 50 tickets or you can spend 450 tickets to hit the jackpot! The first jackpot contains the blueprint for the Teleporter Arrow and each following jackpot contains a huge amount of rare resources.
The Teleporter Arrow is the latest item arriving to Grindstone, one that will be sure to change up the strategies of seasoned players. The mystical Teleporter Arrow lets you fire at two different Creeps or items to make them swap places. Use it to set up new chains, avoid danger or get out of a jam!
Grindstone’s Carnival of Creeps update is out now on Switch for free. It can be accessed at the bottom of Grindstone Mountain for 100 Grindstones where players usually start.
