Nintendo Switch Online app update out now (version 2.0.0), patch notes
Nintendo has just released a new 2.0.0 update for its Switch Online app. It includes a new design, the ability to see which friends are online, and more.
The full patch notes for the Nintendo Switch Online app version 2.0.0 update are as follows:
・ The app’s overall design has been updated.
・ You can now see which of your friends are online.
・ You can change your online-status settings.
・ You can view your friend code.
・ Other minor changes have also been implemented.
The Nintendo Switch Online app has been around for a few years now. It lets players use voice chat during online play for certain titles and access game-specific services such as the option to send custom designs made in the Animal Crossing 3DS games to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The Nintendo Switch Online app is available on mobile via iOS and Android, and the 2.0.0 update is live on both platforms now.
