Mario Strikers: Battle League has already outsold Mario Golf: Super Rush in Europe
We have new information about gaming sales in Europe for the month of June, and it includes some interesting information about Mario Strikers: Battle League.
The recently-released Switch title has seen over 40 percent of its European sales in France. Additionally, Mario Strikers: Battle League has already outsold Mario Golf: Super Rush. That was done just three weeks after the game’s launch. Mario Tennis Aces is still on top – at least for now – when it comes to the best-selling Mario sports title on Switch in Europe.
Mario Strikers: Battle League was the third best-selling title in Europe for June. However, it could have placed even higher given that Nintendo doesn’t report digital sales.
In terms of hardware, Switch sales were up 21 percent compared to May. The system also saw a 35 percent increase over June last year.
