zelda tears of the kingdom amiibo rewards

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features compatibility with just about every amiibo figure in the Zelda lineup. Some grant the player items, some grant horses, and almost all of them grant an exclusive Paraglider fabric. If you’ve managed to get your hands on some Zelda amiibo figures and want to know what kind of benefits they’ll bring you in-game, we’ve put together a full list of amiibo rewards and unlocks for Tears of the Kingdom. Let’s get started!

amiibo Rewards List & Exclusive Paraglider Fabric

In terms of exclusive amiibo rewards in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, every single one drops an exclusive paraglider fabric that you can’t get anywhere else. Fortunately, the armor and weapons they provide are located elsewhere via in-game quests. Most of these reside in the Depths, and their location is marked via Old Maps you can find in the Sky. We’ve compiled an image gallery above that includes all of the individual Paraglider fabrics these amiibo unlock.

Here are the amiibo rewards you can expect to earn when you scan a figurine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom:

  • Wolf Link sadly no longer summons a helper. Instead, you’ll get a bunch of meat and a chance at obtaining the Mirror of Twilight fabric.
  • Link (Ocarina of Time) drops weapons and meat. You also have a chance to find the Cap of Time, Tunic of Time, Trousers of Time, or the Lon Lon Ranch fabric. The Super Smash Bros. series Young Link has the exact same drop rates for the exact same items.
  • Link (The Legend of Zelda), also known as 8-Bit Link, generally drops barrels you can break for additional items. You also have a shot at finding the Cap of the Hero, Tunic of the Hero, Trousers of the Hero, Pixel fabric, or Sword. The latter is a classic weapon obtained via this amiibo or the Bargainer’s Statue.
  •  Link (The Wind Waker) drops fish. You’ll also receive a treasure chest that may contain the Cap of the Wind, the Tunic of the Wind, the Trousers, or the King of Red Lions fabric. The Super Smash Bros. series Toon Link amiibo drops the same assortment of items.
  • Zelda (The Wind Waker) drops a mix of herbs and gems. You’ve also got a chance to unlock the exclusive Bygone-Royal fabric.
  • Bokoblin amiibo were kind of useless in Breath of the Wild, as all they dropped were meat and Bokoblin parts. That’s still true in this game, but it has the added chance of dropping the exclusive Bokoblin fabric for your Paraglider.
  • Guardian drops some sturdy iron boxes that can only be broken by two-handed weapons. The treasure chest has a chance of containing the Ancient-Sheikah fabric. This is one of the only remaining references to the Sheikah in this game!
  • Link (Archer) drops fish and meat. You’ve also got a chance to obtain the Tunic of Memories fabric, which is based on Link’s Breath of the Wild outfit.
  • Link (Rider) drops the exclusive Hylian-Hood fabric and an assortment of mushrooms.
  • Zelda (Breath of the Wild) drops a mix of herbs and gems. You might also find a Star Fragment in the treasure chest! This amiibo is also the only way to unlock the Hyrule-Princess fabric.
  • Link (Majora’s Mask) has a chance of unlocking the incredibly cool Majora’s Mask fabric, which one of the cooler amiibo rewards in the game. Its eyes light up at night! Otherwise, you can potentially obtain Fierce Deity armor or the powerful Fierce Deity Sword.
  • Link (Skyward Sword) drops a treasure chest that may contain the Cap of the Sky, the Tunic of the Sky, the Trousers of the Sky, or the White Sword of the Sky weapon. It’s also the only way to obtain the Sword-Spirit fabric, which is based on Fi.
  • Link (Twilight Princess) has the same functionality as the Super Smash Bros. Link amiibo. You have a chance at unlocking the Cap of Twilight, Tunic of Twilight, Trousers of Twilight, or the exclusive Mirror of Twilight fabric (shared with Wolf Link).
  • Daruk drops a mix of gemstones, flint, and rock salt. In terms of treasure, you can get a Vah Rudania Divine Helm or the exclusive Goron-Champion fabric.
  • Mipha can drop the Zora-Champion fabric or the Vah Ruta Divine Helm. Otherwise, you’ll at least get a bunch of fish to pick up.
  • Revali drops the exclusive Rito-Champion fabric or the Vah Medoh Divine Helm. As with all other amiibo figures, there’s a chance that the treasure chest contains a standard weapon instead.
  • Urbosa unlocks the Vah Naboris Divine Helm or the exclusive Gerudo-Champion fabric. The former can be found via an in-game quest without the use of amiibo, so feel free to sell it if you wind up with two.
  • Link (Link’s Awakening) has an interesting list of unlockables. You have a chance to unlock any one piece of the Awakening armor or the exclusive Egg fabric.
  • Zelda & Loftwing drops the exclusive Goddess fabric. Like most of the other Princess Zelda amiibo, this one also drops herbs and sometimes a gem.
  • Link (Tears of the Kingdom) drops an assortment of mushrooms for your picking. It’s also the only way to get the Champion’s Leathers fabric.
  • Zelda (Tears of the Kingdom) unlocks the exclusive Princess Zelda fabric based on her outfit in this game. At the time of writing, this figure is due to release on November 3.
  • Ganondorf (Tears of the Kingdom) drops the exclusive Gerudo King fabric. At the time of writing, this figurine is unreleased, but it does come out in early November.
  • Zelda (Super Smash Bros.) drops the exclusive Princess of Twilight fabric. Otherwise, you’ll receive a mix of herbs and the occasional gem.
  • Sheik (Super Smash Bros.) unlocks the Sheik fabric or Sheik’s Mask. Otherwise, you’ll receive some mushrooms.
  • Ganondorf (Super Smash Bros.) drops the Demon King fabric, which is not to be confused with the Gerudo King fabric listed above. It also drops a bunch of pieces of meat.

Remember, you can obtain amiibo rewards in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom once per figure per day. If you somehow own ten different Wolf Link amiibo, you can still use all ten of them per day. If you’ve only got one, though, you’ll have to wait until the next day to try your luck again. If you wind up obtaining more than one of the same piece of armor, feel free to sell one of them for some extra Rupees! Each piece sells for several hundred, which should be a good way of making money quickly.
