Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble SEGA Pass: Sonic Team revealed

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble is getting Sonic DLC with its SEGA Pass, it’s just been announced.

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy will all appear in the game. All four characters will be playable in Adventure Mode as well as Battle Mode. Worth noting, each character has unique stats. Additionally, all in-game pick-ups will switch from bananas to Gold Rings in further homage to the classic franchise – but only with these characters.

If you pick up the Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble Digital Deluxe Edition, you’ll gain access to the Sonic characters as part of the SEGA Pass at no extra cost. If you pick up the game standalone, individual characters will also be available a la carte. The SEGA Pass will cost $24.99, so those who choose the Digital Deluxe Edition will save on the bundle. SEGA says all content is scheduled to be released over the coming months.
