Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana getting English release in the west
June 30: A new leak has revealed that Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is receiving an English release in the west.
XSEED recently teased that it will be showing off an unspecified title at Anime Expo 2024 next week. It turns out this game is Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana. While the news was intended to be announced in a few days, posts that went up on social media share the announcement. Those posts have since been deleted.
Outside of this title, XSEED will also be showing off the Switch projects Potionomics: Masterwork Edition, Farmagia, and Corpse Party II: Darkness at Anime Expo 2024.
Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana was originally released for the PC in 2005. It came to Switch in Japan last April, marking the first time it appeared on a Nintendo platform.

July 2: XSEED and Marvelous Europe now made an official announcement, confirming the western launch for early 2025. Those attending Anime Expo can go hands on at the company’s booth between July 4 and July 7.
XSEED also announced the limited, physical Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana Refined Edition. All copies include the game packaged with a soundtrack CD featuring 14 songs, an acrylic diorama/keychain set, a set of four postcards with art from the game, and a graphic cleaner cloth.

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana follows thrill-seeking protagonist Adol and his blue-haired companion Dogi as they return to Dogi’s homeland of Felghana. The eight years they’ve been away have not been kind to the lands which are now filled with roaming monsters, a newly active volcano, and a greedy new overlord extorting the suffering residents. While Dogi seeks help from his former master, Adol remains to help the locals, only to find himself embroiled in a world of conspiracies and ancient legacies.
With remastered high-definition visuals and music, the epic adventure has never looked or sounded better.
