Rumor: Tales of Xillia Remastered coming to Switch

Tales of Xillia Remastered could be appearing on Switch. Listings for the RPG have been spotted at three different retailers by Reddit user Jay_RPGee, though they’re all owned by the same company.

Other than the actual listing, there’s not much to go on. It’s unclear what the remastered version would include and when it would be launching.

Supposedly there is a track record for this retailer leaking other unannounced games as well. While the listings feature unique EANs (European Article Numbers) that aren’t currently showing up in any public database, they are are registered to Bandai Namco. Ultimately the retailer pages shouldn’t be taken as confirmation, and we’ll need to wait and see if Bandai Namco makes an official announcement for Tales of Xillia Remastered down the line.

This wouldn’t be the first Tales of game to appear on a Nintendo platform. Tales of Symphonia Remastered launched last year, though it had a bit of a mixed reception. Critics and fans brought up technical issues with the game, particularly with the frame rate and load times.

Tales of Xillia originally launched about a decade ago, but it never appeared on a Nintendo platform. A sequel to the game was also released.
