Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns DLC revealed

At Comic Con just a few minutes ago, first details were shared about the next wave of DLC for Mortal Kombat 1 known as Khaos Reigns. We’ve got a look at the official piece of art above shown at the panel above.

Six new characters are planned for the future. Ghostface, Noob Saibit, Sektor, Cyrax, Conan, and T-1000 are all confirmed for the fighting title.

Khaos Reigns is comprised of new story chapters and Kombat Pack 2. A bundle will also be available featuring Khaos Reigns and Kombat Pack 1. Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot will be available on release to kick off Kombat Pack 2. Ghostface, T-1000, and Conan are coming later. Those who pre-order will receive the Wedding Scorpion, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Sub-Zero, Empress Mileena, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Noob Saibot skins.

Animality, which is making a comeback from Mortal Kombat 3, is also something new for Mortal Kombat 1. This will be offered to all players as a free update.

The Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack just wrapped up not too long ago. Omni-Man (Invincible), Quan Chi, Peacemaker (DC’s Peacemaker), Ermac, Homelander (The Boys), and Takahashi Takeda were previously added as playable characters.
