Today, we’re going over a Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom money farming method that’ll help you earn quick Rupees – and easily.

Rupees are an important aspect of every Zelda game, but there’s a particularly high number of items to buy in Echoes of Wisdom. You’ve got accessories, smoothies, and Great Fairy accessory slot upgrades competing for your money, so we’ve put together a guide on how to quickly and effectively farm infinite money. You can technically just go around looking for treasure chests you haven’t opened yet (as well as completing any side quests you may have missed), but our method works alongside those and can easily be performed on autopilot.

Our Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Rupee farming money method works best mid-game, when you have the power to summon three Echoes or more. You can still use this method with less, but the more Echoes you can summon, the better it works. The method itself is very simple: summon a bunch of Crows, and wander Hyrule Field and the overworld using the Crows to defeat as many enemies as possible. When they hit an enemy for the first time, they will drop Rupees. Most of them are green Rupees worth 1 each, but sometimes they’ll drop a blue Rupee worth 5. This only works with Crows, too – no other Echo causes enemies to drop Rupees like Crows do. If you don’t have the Crow Echo, you can get it in northern Hyrule above Lake Hylia. Don’t let the enemy Crows hit you, though, because they’ll steal some of your Rupees.

If you’ve completed the Secret Chief Talks side quest, you can receive a Gold Brooch accessory that increases the appearance rate of Rupees. This means you can rather mindlessly run through Hyrule Field, defeating the low-level enemies with your Crows and spinning through blades of grass to gather a whole bunch more Rupees. Using this trick, we were able to farm tons of Rupees to fully upgrade our accessory slots via the Great Fairy in Lake Hylia. As a side note, the Crows you summon will target Rupees on the ground before other enemies. We’d recommend picking up those Rupees before they get to them – money that your Crow Echoes pick up will still go to your wallet, but it’s just faster to grab the Rupees yourself and let the Crows smack around the enemies without getting distracted. Overall, this is an easy infinite money method that should serve you well!
