Super Mario RPG official soundtrack release revealed

Listings are starting to go up on retailer websites indicating that Super Mario RPG is receiving a new official soundtrack release.

It appears that three different versions are planned. Fans will be able to pick up the soundtrack itself, a sound box, and the sound vinyl box.

Those simply looking for the soundtrack version will receive two discs featuring music from the Nintendo Switch remake. The Super Mario RPG Original Sound Box contains these CDs as well, but also two more CDs with remastered music from the SNES original plus commentary on all songs by Yoko Shimomura. Lastly, the vinyl box contains an analog record of the soundtrack for the Nintendo Switch version.
