The Arcade Crew and Assoupi are promoting the launch of MainFrames with a new trailer. The game, which is a 2D platformer that takes place on a desktop monitor’s screen, has now come to Nintendo Switch.

A rundown of what to expect can be found below:

In MainFrames, changing your surroundings is key to routing a path forward. Hop between program windows, rearranging the very world around you by clicking and dragging desktop icons or pop-ups, creating platforming opportunities and solving inventive mind-benders. Each level loads up new challenges, from tests of logic to boss fights powered by the OS itself. MainFrames’ uplifting journey also features backdrops inspired by classic PC wallpapers; you’ll traverse pixel-perfect landscapes of desktop islands, cyber forests, and digital deserts while guiding Floppy on a nostalgic interface.

MainFrames follows the adventure of Floppy, a computer program driven to uncover their unknown origins and unlock their true function. Befriend the colorful characters running MainFrames’ network along the way, whose chipper humor will surely upload some laughter into your day. While challenging at times, MainFrames’ mischievous level design and welcoming world offers a fair platforming experience that won’t leave you feeling defragmented. Floppy’s journey is overclocked with charm and a ride you won’t want to miss.
