Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 physical

Today, Eastasiasoft announced plans to launch Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 on Nintendo Switch in Asia with English support, and as part of that, the company is planning a physical release.

This follows the news that Idea Factory cancelled its plans for the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth trilogy on Nintendo Switch in the west. It was said at the time that these titles “did not comply with Nintendo Guidelines.”

The Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 Nintendo Switch physical release will be available standalone or as part of a limited edition. The limited edition includes the game, manual, soundtrack CD, art book, Joy-Con stickers, mini case, acrylic standees, and a numbered certificate in a collector’s box. Only 2,000 units will be made.

Below is an overview of the game:

In the world of Gamindustri, four goddesses known as CPUs battled for supremacy in the War of the Guardians. One of the CPUs – Neptune – was defeated by the others and banished from the heavens. In her fall from grace, her memories were lost, but a mysterious book reveals itself to Neptune with knowledge of all of Gaminudstri’s history. Joined by Compa, IF and the sentient book known as Histoire, Neptune embarks on an extraordinary journey across four different nations on a quest to save the entire world!

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 is a remake of the series’ first entry, now with all prior extras included! Packed with fast-paced, turn-based RPG action, fourth-wall-breaking, trope-demolishing dialogue and more item, weapon and costume customization than you can shake a Lvl. 1 Stick at, Gamindustri is a world set on turning the concept of the JRPG on its head!
