[Let’s Talk] What are you playing? – October 2025

A new month started up this week. Now that we’re in October, we want to know what you’ve been playing.

Did you get your hands on the just-released Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2? How about other new games like Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles? No matter the case, let us know in the comments below.

Is it to much to ask for a Sushi Strikers upgrade that brings a conclusion to the story? Just let me explore the Sushi Dimension and find the protagonist’s mother.

Xenoblade Chronicles (yes, all four) comes to mind for me. X probably does have recency priority if it happens, but I think the numbered trilogy would also benefit.

Most Nintendo games I can think of that could use the improvement have gotten it either via free update or upgrade pack already…well, that’s not entirely true. Astral Chain could benefit from a major upgrade/update as well.

The only ‘Switch 2 Edition’ I’m willing to pay money for would be the Xenoblade games.

But if we are talking about a free update, I’m begging Bamco to make one for SAO Alicization. It looks so bad I stopped playing it a long time ago.

I will give you my soul, Bamco, but please update that game!

The sonic games would be nice too. I haven’t played a Sonic game since Lost World because of the way they run on Switch, so hopefully we get a Switch 2 version for Sonic Frontiers and Colors.

Bloodstained is another game I would like to get an upgrade. I played the game on Xbox but it was taken out of game pass before I could finish the story, so it would be cool to have a good version on the Switch 2.

Prime 1 would be a good one as a bit of a teaser for 4, show off the mouse controls and 120fps. Also Pikmin 4 mainly just because I want it to get some kind of dlc
