First official images released for The Legend of Zelda movie

Today, Nintendo shared the first official look at The Legend of Zelda movie with the company confirming that production has indeed starting filming.

Over the weekend, it seemed as though footage leaked from the set. Videos also provided a look at a character who has not been announced so far. That footage followed other recent reports that filming had recently started.

Along with the show above, below is a look at what Nintendo has shared from the live action Zelda movie:

Thus far, only two cast members have been officially announced. We’ll be seeing Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link.

The Legend of Zelda movie will hit theaters on May 7, 2027. As for the leaked set footage we mentioned, you can check that out here.
