“Sonic Universe Event Film” announced

Paramount is planning a “Sonic Universe Event Film”, it’s been announced. It already has a release date of December 22, 2028.

Details about the movie are scarce at this point. However, to clarify, the project is in the pipeline alongside Sonic the Hedgehog 4, which is slated for March 19, 2027.

While we’ll need to wait for proper details, it’s very possible that the new movie will star a character other than Sonic the Hedgehog. We did see the first live-action Sonic television series last year, which gave Knuckles the spotlight.
