Video: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Nintendo Switch vs. Switch 2 comparison

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds just came to Nintendo Switch 2, and if you’re wondering how it compares to the Switch 1 version, you’ll want to check out a new video that’s dropped.

Right out of the gate, the Nintendo Switch 2 benefits from an increased frame rate – it’s 60 FPS as opposed to 30 FPS. For a racer, that can make a big difference. On top of that, with a higher resolution, the image appears sharper on Nintendo Switch 2.

During actual races, you might not notice huge graphical differences between the two versions. However, it does look like on Nintendo Switch 2, there are some extra bells and whistles such as improved textures. Even in the screenshot above, there’s a blur effect on Nintendo’s latest console that isn’t on Switch 1.
