Arcade Archives Rolling Thunder, Qix gameplay
During its latest live stream this week, Famitsu showed off gameplay from Arcade Archives Rolling Thunder and Arcade Archives Qix. We have a lengthy look at both titles on Switch.
Here’s a brief overview of the games:
Rolling Thunder
Rolling Thunder is an action game released by Namco in 1986.
Control the hero (codename: ALBATROSS) and infiltrate the secret base of the GELDRA secret society as they plot to dominate the globe.
Experience a hard-boiled adventure with a smart hero in the lead.
This title contains three versions, each with slightly different content.
Qix
Qix is a line-drawing puzzle game developed by Taito America (the company’s US branch) in 1981, then imported into Japan.
Players control the “Marker” to draw lines, closing off and controlling areas.
Avoid the hostile “QIX” and “Sparx” that roam the stage, and work to control at least 75% of the stage!
