Ash’s Sirfetch’d event now live for Pokemon Sword and Shield

To celebrate the Pokemon Masters Tournament in the anime, Ash’s current team is being distributed via event code for Pokemon Sword and Shield. Despite it being targeted in Japan, it seems players worldwide can take advantage. Whilst Ash’s Gengar will remain live until September 15, Ash’s Sirfetch’d is now being distributed for the next two weeks.
The creature comes in at level 80 and has the moves Meteor Assault, Brutal Swing, Fury Cutter, and Detect. It has the ability Steadfast and also comes holding a Leek.
If you’re interested in claiming Ash’s Sirfetch’d in Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield, follow the steps below:
1. Launch Pokemon Sword and Shield
2. Select Mystery Gift on the X menu
3. Select Get a Mystery Gift
4. Select Get with Code/Password to connect to the internet
5. Enter your password (H1SSATSUNEG1)
6. Watch as the gift arrives in your game
7. Be sure to save your game
Keep in mind that this is a limited time distribution. Ash’s Sirfetch’d will be available in the games until September 22, 2022.
According to The Pokemon Company, only Farfetch’d that have survived many battles can attain this evolution. When this Pokémon’s leek withers, it will retire from combat.
