Atelier Lulua: The Alchemist of Arland 4 confirmed for Switch, first details
The next Atelier game, Atelier Rurua: The Alchemist of Arland 4, has been officially announced in Famitsu. Like the recent entries in the franchise, Gust is developing it for Switch.
Here are the first leaked details out of Famitsu:
– Character designs are by Mel Kishida
– Protagonist: Elmeluria Frixell
– Elmeluria is the daughter of Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland protagonist Rorona
– Unannounced voice actor
– She has long hair adorned with a heart symbol
– Her clothes appear to be hand-me-downs from Rorona
– She is a studious girl and reckless type who, studying under her master to become an alchemist like her mother, picks up a certain book
– Childhood friend: Eva Armster
– Voice actor for this character also unannounced
– Proper girl who works at a nursery school
– Has a quiet personality,
– Tough fighter in battle, seemingly using a bazooka or Gatling gun
– Synthesis, exploration, and battle elements of the Arland series as its base
– New systems based on elements that gained popularity through the Mysterious sub-series of Atelier games will also appear
– Synthesis will be both classic and new
– Even bigger Arland Republic where Arls has been annexed
– It also seems that Rorona is somewhere far off from here
Atelier Lulua: The Alchemist of Arland 4 is due out in 2019 in Japan. Pricing is set at 7,800, with a 10,800 yen limited edition also planned.
