Atlus: Persona 3 Reload not planned for Switch, would need to be discussed

Persona 3 Reload isn’t in the works for Switch, but Atlus isn’t ruling out the idea entirely.
Director Takuya Yamaguchi and producer Ryota Niitsuma were asked about the possibility of the RPG on Nintendo’s console in an interview with Atomix. The two explained that Persona 3 Reload was never planned for the platform. It’s a possibility for the future, “but it’s a matter of discussing it with the team and seeing what they think about it and we’ll see what happens.”
Their full words are as follows:
“As soon as we began to conceptualize everything that would come in Persona 3 Reload, we decided that there would be no Switch version. Of course the idea is there, but it’s a matter of discussing it with the team and seeing what they think about it and we’ll see what happens.”
Persona 3 Reload was briefly thought to be a possibility for Switch after it was listed by retailers before the official announcement last year. However, that turned out to be incorrect. Switch did at least get Persona 5 Tactica, which launched last November.
