No current plans for Project CARS on Switch
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 24 Comments
It’s tough to forget the situation surrounding Project CARS on Wii U. After this version of the game was talked up by Slightly Mad Studios, it ran into several delays and eventual cancellation.
The developer eventually said last year that Project CARS was “simply too much for the Wii U.” We also heard that Slightly Mad Studios was “awaiting an announcement from Nintendo on new hardware”, which we now know is Switch. Unfortunately, a Nintendo version is still looking unlikely – at least for the time being.
The official Project CARS Twitter account posted the following earlier today:
@AwesomePlatter Currently there are no plans for a Nintendo Switch version of Project CARS, sorry.

Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D was announced for the 3DS eShop way back in 2012. Since the initial reveal, there’s been a severe lack of news surrounding the game. However, on Twitter earlier today, publisher Circle Entertainment assured gamers that the project is still on track.
The tweet with character art is as follows::
No kidding, it's coming. Sorry for long waiting. pic.twitter.com/2O6YzK1Wt0

The original Go! Go! Kokopolo was a DSiWare title. The mix of action, puzzle, and platforming elements ended up being very well received.

Ohayou! Beginner’s Japanese will take up a decent amount of space on your Wii U memory or external hard drive. The download clocks in at 500 MB, which should drop just slightly when actually installed. Look for the Japanese language learning tool on the eShop tomorrow.

More comments from NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang have come in, who spoke about Switch during the company’s latest financial call last week.
Huang indicated to callers that the system’s Tegra processor is similar to what’s found within Sony and Microsoft consoles plus most gaming PCs. Thanks to that, developers should be able to port games over to Switch fairly easily.
