Bayonetta 1 Switch physical release bumped back in Europe and the UK
The original Bayonetta was on track for a standalone physical release on Switch today, but in Europe and the UK, there’s been a bit of a snag. Over on social media, Nintendo said it is “now aiming to release the physical edition of Bayonetta in the first half of October, exclusively on My Nintendo Store.”
As far as we know, everything has gone according to plan in North America. Right now you can pick up a copy at a retailer like Amazon.
Bayonetta 1 came to Switch years ago, but it was bundled together with Bayonetta 2 via a download code.
The next entry in the franchise, Bayonetta 3, launches exclusively for Switch next month.
Nintendo Everything is a participant in the Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop affiliate programs. The website may receive a partial commission through orders placed with these retailers.
