Nintendo’s Korean division will be holding a Nintendo Direct presentation on April 14 at 7:00 AM EST. The company will be announcing 3DS launch information for the territory – yes, they’re still waiting for the system!

Although this Nintendo Direct is planned for Korea only, I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw another Japanese (and possibly American/European) presentation later this month.

You can follow the proceedings here.

The Taiko Drum Master: Little Dragon and the Mysterious Orb 3DS announcement leaked out last night. We were, however, left without details.

Famitsu has remedied that today with a small article on the game. You can find a few bits of information below.

– New music
– Updated adventure mode
– This mode takes place in a fantasy world where Don-chan and a cute little dragon battle enemies
– Seven kingdoms
– Story specifics being kept secret for now

The first screenshots and details of Namco Bandai, Capcom, and SEGA’s 3DS crossover game, Project X Zone, are now available. Famitsu posted the first batch of images on its website.

Details on Project X Zone can be found below. The information mostly covers how the project came to be and a few gameplay details. A list of the title’s roster thus far can be found here.

– Producer Kensuke Tsukanaka said Namco Bandai approached Capcom first
– Namco Bandai had internally discussed making a project with mixed characters
– SEGA were brought in on the discussions after Capcom
– Capcom’s Tatsuya Kitabayashi told Famitsu that he and Sega’s Yasushi Yamashita are overseeing the project
– Originally considered a name with all three companies’ names included
– They felt this name would be too long
– If Project X Zone was a sequel to Namco x Capcom, they could have used a similar title
– Since it’s a completely new titles and because it’s a “project that realizes a dream crossover,” the companies agreed on the Project X Zone name
– Each character has recognizable moves
– Ryu and Ken can use various Shoryuken and other fighting moves
– X and Zero have moves including X Buster and Z Saber
– Ulala has a “Tension Blaster” move
– Character list isn’t final
– More characters will be revealed
– Hidden characters in the game
– Some of the characters may not appear to lend themselves well to strategy RPG style combat
– Even though they’ll still fight, they’ll use actions one might expect of them
– Characters fight in teams
– Example: Ryu and Ken, Jill and Chris will fight together
– There are some exceptions to this “rule”
– Combat details soon
– 50% complete
– Out this year
