Dragon Quest IX sets series record
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in DS, News | 0 comments
Famitsu has reported that Dragon Quest IX has exceeded 4.15 million units in terms of shipment numbers. This information is a significant record for the game because it has beaten Dragon Quest VII as the most-shipped title in the series. Keep in mind that Dragon Quest IX hasn’t sold 4.15 million, but it’s an impressive feat nonetheless. The title launched in Japan back in July and seems to be on its way of reaching 5 million units sold, which is what Square Enix president Yoichi Wada is hoping for.
