Nintendo of Europe’s retail game downloads will begin on August 17. New Super Mario Bros. 2, New Art Academy, and Freakyforms Deluxe will all be available on the eShop.

It has also been confirmed that each title purchased from the store will net consumers twice the amount of Stars on the European Club Nintendo site. A similar deal has been offered in North America and Japan. Users must link their Club Nintendo account and fill out a survey in order to receive the bonus Stars.

Rising Star Games has announced new titles that will be a part of its Autumn lineup.

Perhaps best of all is Virtue’s Last Reward, which has finally been confirmed for Europe. The game is launching in PAL territories this November.

Other games include Jewel Master: Cradle of Egypt 2 for the DS and Super Black Bass for 3DS.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 is just on the horizon. To celebrate the upcoming release of the game, Nintendo has released a new puzzle for the 3DS. Head on over to the StreetPass Mii Plaza for a 40-piece New Super Mario Bros. 2 panel.

Once you’ve started up the app, start the Puzzle Swap mini-game. You’ll then receive one, random piece for the New Super Mario Bros. 2 puzzle.
