The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Bundle Highlights a Golden Autumn for Nintendo Games

REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Leaves won’t be the only things turning gold this fall as Nintendo prepares to launch an extraordinary lineup of games for its Wii™, Nintendo 3DS™ and Nintendo DS™ game systems. At a recent meeting of GameStop retail store managers from across the United States, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing Scott Moffitt revealed new details about upcoming releases for several fan-favorite franchises:

A special limited-edition The Legend of Zelda™: Skyward Sword bundle containing the game and a gold* Wii Remote™ Plus controller will be available when the game launches on Nov. 20.

eBay is going beyond Nintendo’s $80 price drop for the 3DS. The retailer is now selling the system for just $149.99. That’s a $100 price drop compared to what the 3DS originally sold for a few months ago.

It’s probably worth mentioning that you’ll receive free standard shipping with your purchase. There’s no word on how long this will remain in effect, so you might as well head on over to the site now if you have any interest.

Mizuho Securities is predicting that Capcom will announce a new entry in the Monster Hunter franchise at the Tokyo Game Show next month. The company raised its target stock price for Capcom from ¥2,200 to ¥2,600 as a result of their expectation. We’ve heard rumors of a Monster Hunter 3DS title, so you have to wonder if that’ll end up coming true.

n-Space’s third 3DS project has been revealed. The latest issue of Nintendo Power has announced that the company is working on RollerCoaster Tycoon for 3DS. Atari will be publishing the title in March 2012.

For the first details about the game, read on below.

– Coasters will be shown in 3D
– Touchscreen controls available
– Game has been built from the group up
– New assets for 3DS
– Some coaster designs: suspended, hydraulic, wooden, steel and inverted
– Monorails, prebuilt kiddie rides, carousels and county fair-style attractions are some other rides
– Give parks themes including a haunted house
– Manage ride construction/park maintenance
– Players can hire/manage staff (janitors, mechanics are two examples)
– Multiplayer: Coaster Creator, Sandbox
– Tutorials available
– Coaster Story: Learn about how to play the game with tutorials/scenarios
– Adviser in the game will identify in-part objectives and show players their progress
