Take Photographs of Your Friends and Family… Even Pets, to See Them Become Customers in Your Very Own Sushi Restaurant*

Leicester – September 4, 2009 – SouthPeak Games and Asylum Entertainment have today dished out details of an exciting Nintendo DSi™-specific feature in its upcoming eat-‘em-up title, Miniclip Sushi Go-Round. By using the Nintendo DSi™ camera, players can take photographs of people, pets, objects – anything they want – then turn them into quirky customers that appear in their sushi restaurant.

This innovative aspect is thankfully a lot easier to use than a pair of chopsticks. After taking a picture, players just need to trace around the face/object and delete any unnecessary areas of the photo then save. These new customers will then pop in for some super sushi as you’re playing. Up to six pictures can be created, so you’ll never know who’s going to show up next!

dsiware_situation-1

Remember the European/Australian DSiWare update last night? When we posted the news, the 6 in 1 Dictionary with Camera Function tool had a price of 800 points. Strangely though, now that’s been changed to 500 points. Here’s the thing: Some DSi owners have already downloaded the application for 800 points and have not received a refund for the extra 300 that they paid for. Sounds like something odd is going on, doesn’t it?

IGN.com staff pick the best from the world’s biggest games show
London, UK – 4th September 2009 – IGN.com, the UK’s leading videogame and film editorial website, today revealed its hotlist of games to watch from the recent GamesCom exhibition in Cologne, the world’s largest games show. As well as awards for the best games on each format and an overall game of the show, the categories also included nods to best publisher and best developer based on their showing at the August show, as well as a fiercely contested reader award voted for by members of the playing public at the show.

BioWare and EA’s Mass Effect 2, described by the team as, “a beautiful universe that we absolutely cannot wait to explore,” walked away with both the Best of Xbox 360 award and Overall Best Game of the Show. The Best of PlayStation 3 gong was handed to Sony Computer Entertainment’s own Heavy Rain. Developer Quantic Dreams’ thriller was praised as, “a game that touches on a truly personal level thanks to its relentless attention to detail.”
