It looks as though at least one new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game is heading to the DS, courtesy of Ubisoft, even though there is a small amount of confusion involved. Much of the uncertainty stems from a possible relation between a game reveal in Nintendo Power and a rating over at the OFLC.

turtles_in_time_reshelled_dsi

According to the listing from the OFLC, one of the possible Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games is Turtles in Time: Reshelled, which has been rated for the DSi. Meanwhile, the latest edition of Nintendo Power has shed light on TMNT: Arcade Attack, also for the DS, but it may not be for the DSi. The question is, are these actually the same titles? It seems odd that both would be discovered in a similar time frame and may differ only in their names. Or is Ubisoft simply working on two different Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles titles? Either way, I’m sure we’ll find out what’s happening for sure in due time. For now though, you can check out the first details on Arcade Attack below.

– 2 players can participate
– Throw enemies at the screen
– New and old baddies
– Shredder and Baxter Stockman in the game

SAN FRANCISCO – August 27, 2009 – Ubisoft revealed today that it is releasing a follow-up to its critically acclaimed Jam Sessions video game with Jam Sessions 2 for the Nintendo DS(TM) and Nintendo DSi(TM) systems. Scheduled for release in Fall 2009 in North America, Jam Sessions 2 is a guitar game developed by Plato that makes improving your guitar skills fun and rewarding.

Each song in the gameplay mode serves a different role in advancing players’ guitar skills and songwriting abilities. By progressing through the songbook, players learn techniques that will help them play the guitar and write songs. Armed with their new skills, players can play, create and share their own original music with others.
