Furry Legends also heading to DSiWare

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to announce that we will be taking our beloved furballs to DSiWare. Furry Legends is no longer exclusive to WiiWare, the sneaky Furballs are expanding to DSiWare, and who knows if they will settle with just that!
In Furry Legends: Beginnings, which is a prequel to Furry Legends, players will be able to experience the world prior to squarie invasion. The game will feature beautiful, 100% hand drawn graphics, physics, puzzle, action and more!
You can expect new enemies, at least three different environments, new puzzles and a fresh dose of cheesy humor in this upcoming release. Remember to watch this space and sign up with our twitter feed to stay up to date with latest developments!

Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming ripe for the picking at retail

Burlingame, Calif., August 25, 2009 – Natsume Inc., a worldwide developer and publisher of family-oriented video games, announced today that Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming has officially shipped to retail. Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming is rated E for everyone by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), and is available for $29.99 at video game retailers everywhere. Set in the world of last year’s DS hit Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming continues the tale of the island and its residents.
“We are excited to bring this all-new, totally unique puzzle game to the Nintendo DS,” said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO at Natsume. “We know that players will enjoy the wide variety of gameplay modes, playable characters, and fun unlockables that we have planted in this all-new adventure!”

New Sakura game announced in Famitsu, first scan

In the latest edition of Famitsu, the first details and images were revealed for a brand new Sakura game. The title will be called Sakura Note and will be releasing for the DS. There isn’t any gameplay information to speak of yet, but the story involves a boy saving a girl and sakura tree by adventuring and interacting with ghosts and demons. There’s also a partial staff list available, which you can check out below.
Music – Nobou Uematsu (vocal songs from FFXII and Lost Odyssey)
Scenario – Kazushige Nojima (scenario writer of FFVIII and Glory of Heracles DS)

– the fourth entry in the Layton series is kicking off the “Professor Layton Second Season” says Level 5
– Important tidbits from the for the 4th Professor Layton trailer: new character Remi (female) is show, Luke has the ability to see how the world will end, game takes place 3 years before the original Layton
– hits Japan on Nov. 26th
– Remi is voiced by Aibu Saki, and ending theme is sung by Ando Yuuko

– details from new Ninokuni trailer – battles look similar to Dragon Quest, the mysterious land in the game is filled with dinosaurs and various creatures, due out Spring 2010 in Japan, female character voiced by Nagasa Masami, Oizumi You does the voice of “Gyro”, and main character Olivier is voiced by Tabe Mikako, music done by Hisaishi Joe
– Ninokuni will be on a 4GB ROM, making it the biggest ever for DS. This was done to fit the music on.
– Ninokuni theme sung is performed by “Mai” and written by Hisaishi Joe
– new game shown which is called “Fantasy Life”, which looks like a DS RPG (Famitsu says it’s for the DS – thanks Kadir!). Once again, Brownie Brown is involved, and 21 songs provided by Nobuo Uematsu. Each of the 21 songs pairs up with a character in the game, including their own small story and ending. These all lead up to the final ending for the game.
– rumored version of Inazuma Eleven for Wii is not ready to be shown
