Following this, Nintendo of America will post up their own version of Nintendo Direct. Like the first show from last year, Reggie Fils-Aime will take viewers through the latest Nintendo news. The North American presentation is set for 9 AM EST / 6 PM PST.

I wouldn’t expect any megatons, but as usual, we should receive some nice tidbits about upcoming games as well as new footage of Wii/3DS titles.

Nintendo launched the Japanese-exclusive Wii no Ma channel in May 2009. The service allowed users to view a variety of video content including cartoons and educational shows.

Much like the cancellation of Minna no Theater Wii late last year, Nintendo will soon be ending the Wii no Ma channel. The company announced today that, starting on April 30, the service will no longer be accessible.

According to Nintendo, 8.11 million users have used the program and 4.49 downloads have been registered.

VBlank Entertainment has been working on Retro City Rampage for quite some time. Finally, though, the game is nearing its completion.

The studio has confirmed that the game will be available in May. It’ll arrive on WiiWare, as well as the PlayStation Network, Vita, and Steam.
