PARIS, FRANCE – April 9, 2009 – DK Games an independent premier video game developer, today announced that Equilibrio a new mesmerizing and gripping, gyrating ball puzzle solving and manipulation game will be available for download throughout Europe on WiiWare™ from April 10th.

Set in a colorful world, the challenge may look simple but Equilibrio tests not only your reflexes but the old gray matter. The basic concept of getting your ball to the exit pod to finish the level is turned upside down, as you use your Wii Remote™ or Wii Balance Board™, to rotate the play area. Players skillfully move the spinning ball through corridors, along ledges fraught with dangers to complete levels. Move the ball too fast and it can shatter, leaving you to pick up the pieces and restart. Go too slow and the ‘equilibrio’ of the ball will not be powerful enough to spring to the desired spot.

More news has come from the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan. Of greatest importance is an update on Wii MotionPlus, which finally has a nailed down timeframe for release. Analyst Hiroshi Kamide reports that Satoru Iwata revealed the information, saying that the peripheral will arrive in Japan in June. Other overseas territories will receive it in July. More details will “come later” says Iwata.

The most recent update to the “Expanded Information” section of the Tiger Woods PGA Tour ’10 Wii page contains an interesting new detail; the game is reportedly going to include an all-new disk golf mode, where players can apparently play disk golf on all 27 courses included in the main game.

If this is true, I think it is safe to expect that the extra mode will be using WiiMotion Plus and will have multi-player support.

It has been stated a few times over that Thursday night’s episode of GameTrailers TV bring Nintendo fans a new Punch-Out!! trailer. On top of that, however, there are apparently a few more surprises in store. President and COO of Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aime “brought some presents” and “love” for the upcoming show which includes a world exclusive. The announcement is probably Punch-Out!! related, but even if you’re not a fan of the game, there will be Wii MotionPlus and E3 talk, according to Geoff Keighley’s twitter.
