Wii

View some screenshot comparisons in the gallery above. FIFA 12 is on the left, FIFA 13 on the right. You probably won’t notice much of a difference!

There’s a problem with the Wii version of FIFA 13. You see, it’s practically the same exact game as FIFA 12. It’s true that the squads and kits have been updated, but that’s pretty much it.

Same styles. Same visuals. Same menus.

It’s rather odd seeing something like this, but potential FIFA 13 buyers should be aware of this.

Nintendo of Europe’s website was updated with confirmations of two digital games for release next week.

First up is Mole Mania. Shigeru Miyamoto’s classic Game Boy title will be available on the 3DS eShop as a Virtual Console download on October 4 for £2.70.

Also launching next Thursday is Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers. You’ll likely be able to get this for 900 points or so.

Square Enix is probably pretty content with the number of subscribers they’ve managed to get to pay for Dragon Quest X every month, even if the figure (300K) is only half of what Final Fantasy XI brought in at its peak. This isn’t necessarily surprising given the Final Fantasy brand name, but there’s something to be said for Dragon Quest’s almost-equal popularity over in Japan which might serve to trouble the folks behind the game.

Still, they rake in about 4 million dollars a month (¥300 million) with these numbers, and that’s not including North American or European additions.
