Dave the Diver Switch physical release revealed, includes Guilty Gear Strive collaboration content
February 28: Arc System Works revealed today that it will produce a physical version of Dave the Diver for Switch in Japan known as the “Anniversary Edition”. A release is planned for May 30, 2024.
This is going beyond just a standard boxed copy for retail as Dave the Diver’s physical release will actually include collaboration content with Guilty Gear Strive. Players can get their hands on special items such as boat paints and customers will show up at the restaurant wearing new costumes. If that wasn’t enough, the rhythm mini game will provide access to the song “The Disaster of Passion”.
Arc System Works is planning a couple of early purchase bonuses. Fans will be provided with three special sticker sheets and a soundtrack CD containing music from the game.

Physical Release Trailer
We’ll give you a heads up when the Dave the Diver Switch physical release goes up for pre-order. The boxed version will support English and other major languages.
March 1: Import pre-orders are now open – those in North America, Europe, and other territories can reserve it here. Once again, Switch is region free so there won’t be any issues. English and several other languages are included on the cartridge.
March 8: The Dave the Diver Switch physical release is now confirmed for the west, and it still has the same May 30, 2024 release date (though the first-print bonuses appear to be only for Japan). We’ve swapped in an English version of the trailer above. Also, the same May 30 release date applies.
