Dragon Ball FighterZ Switch online beta – full listing of characters, modes detailed

Bandai Namco confirmed yesterday that the Dragon Ball FighterZ online beta for Switch will kick off next week. Since then, we have a few more details about what to expect through a Japanese press release.

First up, here’s a listing of confirmed characters:

These modes will also be included:

The Switch version’s new “Extreme Type” match

The player will now be able to perform Super Moves with simpler inputs in the new “Extreme Type” match. You can toggle this mode at any time from the character select screen.

Arena Match

Players in the same lobby can now fight directly in 1v1 matches.

Replay Channel

The player can view replays of previous matches. The player can also add Z-Stamps at their favorite moments during the replay.

Ring Match

The player can create rings in the lobby to recruit other players and engage them in battle.

Ring Party Match

A mode in which all six players in a ring can fight each other.

Note: Bandai Namco’s western branch previously stated that Practice Battle Tutorial will be included as well.

The Dragon Ball FighterZ Switch online beta kicks off at 9 PM PT on August 9 / 12 AM ET on August 10.
