GDC, one of the biggest gaming events of the year, was postponed last week due to concerns stemming from the coronavirus. It will now be held sometime during the summer.

With GDC having been pushed back and PAX East 2020 wrapping up this past weekend, the next notable gaming event to look forward to is E3 2020 in June. The Entertainment Software Association, who organizes E3, told Vice that the show is “moving ahead full speed”. However, they’re “watching the situation very closely” and “will continue to be vigilant”.

The ESA’s full statement reads:

“Everyone is watching the situation very closely. We will continue to be vigilant, as our first priority is the health, wellness and safety of all of our exhibitors and attendees. Given what we know at this time, we are moving ahead full speed with E3 2020 planning. Exhibit and registration sales are on track for an exciting show in June.”

Assuming E3 2020 takes place as scheduled, it will run between June 9 and June 11.
