The first game in the Fire Emblem series, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light, was released 30 years ago in Japan on April 20, 1990. In appreciation of player support, a 30th Anniversary Celebration is being held, with myriad events and content certain to appeal to players. You can take a look at a roundup of all of today’s announcements below:
- Forging Bonds: The Fire Within is here! For up to seven days during the event, you can earn 2 Orbs the first time you clear a map (once per day). You can receive rewards such as accessories, First Summon Tickets, and Divine Codes (Ephemera)!
- Protect the Kingdom of Askr from Thórr’s advancing army in Mjölnir’s Strike! This time, the enemy army will be led by Oliver. It’s time for the Brace phase! Build structures and place allies on the map!
- Free 5★ Hero: Fire Emblem Leads Summoning Event This summoning event features 31 courageous Heroes who played leading roles in their respective games, and you can summon one of them at 5★ rarity without using any Orbs! See the in-game notification for more info.
- New Heroes Rinkah, Forrest, Lilith, and Midori from the #FireEmblem Fates games are here! There are new story maps in Book IV, Chapter 6: Dreaming Reality, and a Log-In Bonus where you can get up to 13 Orbs!
- 30th Anniversary Grand Hero Battle Revivals are now live! There will be a series of these battles every two days. Today, Gharnef: Dark Pontifex is back, along with some limited-time quests! Active: Apr. 8, 12:00 AM PT – Apr. 9, 11:59 PM PT.
