First gameplay is in for Yooka-Replaylee on Nintendo Switch 2 – 30 FPS, could get performance mode

Yooka-Replaylee is quickly coming up on its launch, and now we have a proper look at the Nintendo Switch 2 version with direct-feed gameplay.

One thing to mention right out of the gate is that Yooka-Replaylee will run at 30 frames per second on the system. This applies to both docked and handheld modes. Playtonic indicated that it’s had limited time with Nintendo Switch 2 dev kits, but is “investigating the possibility of implementing a performance mode to follow some time post launch.”

A demo for the game is also in the works. However, it will not be distributed until after launch.
