First gameplay revealed for Resident Evil 7 and Village on Nintendo Switch 2

Capcom is bringing both Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village to Nintendo Switch next month, and now gameplay has surfaced of both titles running on the hardware.

The latest episode of Capcom TV aired this week. During the show, extensive footage of both titles was shown. This is the first time we’ve seen gameplay of the ports.

Gameplay

Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village are heading to Nintendo Switch 2 on February 27, 2026. Resident Evil Village comes to the system on the same day, and you can find footage of the title running in handheld mode here.

While all three games will be sold individually, fans will also be able to secure the Nintendo Switch 2-exclusive Resident Evil Generation Pack either at retail or on the Nintendo eShop. The bundle for stores houses the titles in special packaging – you can pre-order this here.
