Front Mission 1st: Remake Classic and Modern modes detailed

Front Mission 1st: Remake is going the extra mile by including Classic and Modern game modes. In a tweet published earlier today, Forever Entertainment detailed what’s featured in each and the differences between them. We even have a little bit of gameplay.
With the Classic mode in the game, players can expect the soundtrack without any significant alterations, the original camera view, and essentially the same experience as the original. Meanwhile, Modern mode is where more of the remake aspect comes into play with a remastered soundtrack, perspective camera view, and more freedom with the camera thanks to the ability to change the rotation and pitch. On top of that, the team has implemented small fixes and improvements when playing in Modern.

Front Mission 1st: Remake launches for Switch on November 30, 2022. There’s even more to come from the franchise as Front Mission 2: Remake is following in 2023, and a redone version of the series’ third mainline entry planned for the future. Forever Entertainment hasn’t confirmed if today’s newly-detailed gameplay modes will be included in the remakes for the second and third titles, but we should be hearing more next year.
