How to complete the Zora Child’s Fate side quest in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
The Zora Child’s Fate is a somewhat important side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, because its reward is one of the many accessories found throughout the game. If you’re looking for which Echoes you need to complete this quest and how to receive the Zora Scale reward at the end, then we’ve got you covered.
The Zora Child’s Fate side quest
As with most quests that take place in the River Zora Village, the Zora Child’s Fate only appears after you take care of the main story business that takes place in town (in other words, clearing the rift). You’ll receive this quest from a River Zora standing northeast of the Waypoint near a house. According to the Zora child, he’s concerned about the way his mother has been acting, so head right inside the nearby house to continue.
Inside, the River Zora found here wants you to show her three different Echoes. The first one she requests is a “Sinister Fish”, and the easiest Echo to use for this purpose would be a Tangler, as it’s the most common fish-type Echo in the area. For the second one, you’ll need to use a Bombfish Echo, which is required for the main story, so you should have that one by now. The third one is a bit easier; the Zora requests a shocking jellyfish monster. This is the Biri Echo, which you can find near Zora Cove in the big lake. Watch the cutscenes that unfolds and head outside to receive the Zora Scale, your reward for completing The Zora Child’s Fate! It increases the time you can spend underwater.
