Irem Collection Volume 2 release date set for November, first trailer
ININ, Tozai Games, Irem, and Strictly Limited Games have set a release date for Irem Collection Volume 2. It’ll be ready to go for Switch on November 14, 2024.
Irem Collection Volume 2, which includes Air Duel, GunForce, and GunForce II, was originally planned for February. But ININ ended up delaying the release to an unspecified date.
Here’s some information about the package:
About Air Duel
After a global catastrophe the shadowy D.A.S. organization has taken control of Earth. Become a World Defense Force pilot, hop into a helicopter, or strap yourself into a fighter jet and clear the skies in seven missions! Mobilize a friend and have him join you in the air in the local couch co-op.
About GunForce
The rogue nation only known as “R” has unleashed a supercomputer hellbent on conquering the globe. After disabling the world’s defensive systems only an elite commando operation might still be able to stop them: GunForce!
Use a variety of weapons and vehicles to run and gun your way through both the SNES and Arcade versions of this pioneering action title.
A much-improved sequel; this run and gun is a feast for the eyes. Huge detailed and beautifully animated sprite art crowns Irem’s legacy as this was their final game.
Join the GunForce for a second time.
Everything that made the prequel so great was cranked up to 11:
Weapons, Vehicles, Explosions, Music, Action!
All Volumes of the Irem Collection come with a variety of extra features:
Rewind and Save-states for a more forgiving experience are an option but if you want to really test your skills shoot for the high score in classic mode and rise through the online leaderboards!
