Kirby and the Forgotten Land soundtrack album revealed
March 25: To celebration the second anniversary of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, it’s been revealed that a new soundtrack album for the game will be released – at least in Japan. It’s arriving on September 13, 2024.
The album will be sold as both the Kirby and the Forgotten Land Sound Selection and Kirby and the Forgotten Land Complete Soundtrack. The former contains 33 tracks on a single CD while the latter features the complete soundtrack and other tracks across four CDs, along with some other goodies.
For the Kirby and the Forgotten Land Complete Soundtrack, there’ll be 115 tracks which includes music from stages, boss battles, and cutscenes plus sound effects, voiced scenes, additional tracks not found in the Sound Test, and more. It’ll also come with the Japanese version of the theme song “Welcome to the New World” and an instrumental version of that track.
Outside of music, the Kirby and the Forgotten Land Complete Soundtrack includes a 40-page booklet going over the track list, setting materials, and a roundtable discussion with the composers (Japanese). As a first-print bonus, fans can get a photo frame music box that’s modeled after the photo frame you can see in Kirby’s house at the end of the game, and it plays the theme song. You’ll also get five photo cards.
