Kubfu location guide in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk
For those looking to get their hands on Kubfu in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as part of The Indigo Disk, we have a location guide for you so you can learn where to find it.
The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet includes Kubfu as one of the Legendary Pokemon that can be caught. It’s a good thing, too – Urshifu is currently one of the strongest Pokemon in VGC, and it was previously only obtainable via Pokemon Sword and Shield’s DLC campaign.
Before we get into the Kubfu location, keep in mind that you can get the Scroll of Darkness or Scroll of Waters from the Porto Marinada auction house. From there, you can use it like an item to evolve Kubfu without having to do any of the training present in the Isle of Armor DLC.
Kubfu location guide
Like most of the other returning Legendary Pokemon in The Indigo Disk, Kubfu is obtained via Snacksworth, a character standing at the entrance to Blueberry Academy after you beat the main story. Every time you complete 10 BP quests, you will receive a random snack for a Legendary Pokemon, and Kubfu is one of them. You’ll also receive a vague hint on its location, but we’ve figured that out for you already. As you can see via the map above, the location for Kubfu in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC is standing directly in front of the Fury Falls fast travel spot in the bamboo section of the North Province area. From there, all you need to do is catch it.
As mentioned before, the snack you receive from Snacksworth is random every 10 BP quests, so we’d recommend running around and completing them in the background while you watch a video or something similar. The BP quests unfortunately aren’t terribly engaging, but they’re at least easy enough to complete.
We have lots more guides coming up for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and we keep a full list of them right here. Kubfu is certainly one of the easier Legendary Pokemon to catch, and we’ll have guides for other ones coming up soon.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Switch, and you can check the official website here.
